| Partnership Formed With Chinese Academy of Forestry |
In January 2006, the Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) and the Chinese Academy of Forestry (CAF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding signifying mutual interest in forest products utilization research. FPL and CAF agreed to promote scientific discussion and exchange and to foster cooperation and collaboration between the two organizations. FPL hopes to welcome a visiting scientist from CAF this fall. The CAF delegation was led by Mme. Zehui Jiang, professor of wood science and CAF president.
