The Midwest Region was pleased to present four awards in 2006: two Excellence in Technology Transfer awards and two Partnership Awards. The award winners were:

• Excellence in Technology Transfer Award presented to NASA Glenn Research Center for work on the Heart Arrhythmia Monitoring System.

• Excellence in Technology Transfer Award presented to Argonne National Laboratory for work on Borated Phosphate Cements-based Nuclear Shields and Casks.

• Partnership Award presented to ADICA Consulting, LLC, for work with Argonne National Laboratory on EMCAS Software.

• Partnership Award presented to Cold Core Therapeutics, LLC, for work with Argonne National Laboratory on Ice Slurry Medical Coolants.
