The FLC Midwest Region was pleased to present the following awards in 2008:

• Excellence in Technology Transfer Award presented to Advanced, High-Power Batteries for Hybrid Electric Vehicles, Argonne National Laboratory, Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division.

• Excellence in Technology Transfer Award presented to the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health for work on a Handwipe Removal Method for Metals.
