iBIO SBIR Workshop
- What: Two-day intensive workshop format to cover all aspects of writing SBIR/STTR grants focused on life science technologies, including: eligibility, sources of funding and agency differences, understanding what reviewers look for, and step-by-step instruction on how to write each section of your proposal. The workshop will cover all agencies, including the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, with detailed emphasis on NIH.

LES 2008 Spring Meeting
- What: The 2008 International Conference will be combined with the LES (USA and Canada) spring meeting. 2008 FLC National Meeting
- What: Join us for the 2008 FLC national meeting, themed "On the Innovation Trail," in Portland, Oregon, May 5-8, 2008. 2008 Dual Use Technology Briefing
- What: The military depends on commercial business to develop new technologies to protect the warfighter and advance homeland security. Smallwood 2008 and Bioenergy and Wood Products Joint Conference
- What: The theme of this year's conference is "Cutting Edge Technologies to Optimize Utilization of Smallwood and Woody Biomass." The objective of this conference is to provide state-of-the-art information on small-tree utilization and to foster peer-to-peer learning. Enormous quantities of woody biomass are being generated from thinning operations, land clearing, and hurricane disasters. These issues drive the need to create solutions for using low-value and waste wood. This conference will include an international slate of speakers, including researchers, material and equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and end-users.
