Dear Colleagues: This is my final letter as Regional Coordinator. Since I took over the position, I believe that we have come a long way toward reinvigorating the Region, and I hope you agree. During my terms of office, we have held three successful meetings, kept our points of contact lists updated, revamped the website, obtained our own domain name, and produced two volumes of DVD training—among many other accomplishments. I certainly couldn't have done it alone. I'd like to thank Kristen and Ken for their ideas and for their help bringing those ideas to reality. I'd also like to thank all of you for sharing your ideas, your support, and your time with us. Whether you're a lab employee, a member of private industry, or a member of an educational institution, the FLC needs your involvement to accomplish its mission. I plan to stay involved in both the Region and the national organization as much as I can, but I know that I leave you in good hands as Kristen and Jim continue to develop the Midwest Region. I look forward to seeing you at a meeting (especially since I won't be the one at the front of the room!). Take care, Cindy
